Each individual believer is on a personal journey of knowing, loving, and growing in Christ. It is Dan's mission as Senior Pastor to encourage and challenge his brothers and sisters to live excellent lives while expanding God's kingdom for His glory. Dan's passion for ministry can be summed up in three simple phrases:
Plant the word of God
Water thirsty souls
Gather the harvest
Dan and his wife, Gigi, will celebrate their twentieth wedding anniversary this year. They have three children: Savannah, Caden, and Kennedy.
Dan has been the senior pastor at Adair First Baptist since 2004. Prior to that time, he spent eleven years working in youth ministry consecutively at First Baptist churches in Shawnee, Chouteau, and Sherman Texas.
Dan holds a Doctorate of Ministry with a Church Revitalization Emphasis from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, a Master of Divinity with Biblical Languages from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Ministries with a Youth Emphasis from Oklahoma Baptist University.
